A client contacted us in April 2026 about a house we had for sale in the Domaine du Colombier in Mougins. An offer was already being negotiated, so unfortunately, we were unable to arrange a viewing.

Eventually, the offer fell through, so we contacted him again.

The house suited him perfectly, and he made an offer. A few weeks later, the day before the appointment to sign the preliminary sales agreement, the sellers ultimately decided not to sell for personal reasons.

The buyer was disappointed. He had already been looking for his future home for a year.

We then resumed the search for him and found him a house in the Domaine de la Peyrière. As he was abroad, we arranged a viewing for the following week.

Then came another twist of fate: the house was sold before we even had the chance to view it.

We knew our buyer was once again very disappointed. So we decided to do everything we could to find him his future home.

We canvassed ALL the private estates in Mougins where he was interested in buying and contacted ALL the owners whose properties we had previously valued.

And then, at the beginning of June 2026… BINGO! 🎯

The house had been built by the parents/grandparents of the heirs. They were delighted that our client wanted to modernise the property while preserving its charm and history.

What followed was a very stressful negotiation… but it was successful! In July 2026, we signed the preliminary sales agreement. ✍️

And just a few days ago, we finally signed the final deed of sale for the property, and our client is delighted! 🥳

The renovation work has already begun, as he is renovating the house from floor to ceiling — and even the roof! He is also adding a swimming pool. 🏊‍♂️
